Understanding WhatsApp Business Accounts

When you connect WhatsApp through Zaple, you're using the WhatsApp Business API (also called WhatsApp Cloud API). This is different from the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app and provides:

  • Multiple users can access the same WhatsApp number
  • Automated messaging and chatbots
  • Integration with CRMs and other tools
  • High-volume messaging capabilities
  • Analytics and performance tracking

Setting Up Your Business Profile

Your business profile appears to customers when they view your WhatsApp contact. Configure it in Zaple:

Display Name

Your display name must follow Meta's naming guidelines:

  • Must represent your business (not generic like "Customer Support")
  • Should match your business name or brand
  • Cannot include promotional language
  • Must be unique to your business
  • Requires approval from Meta

Write a clear, concise description of your business:

  • Maximum 256 characters
  • Describe what your business does
  • Include your unique value proposition
  • Keep it professional and informative

Business Category

Select the category that best describes your business:

  • Automotive

Account Settings in Zaple

Configure these settings in your Zaple dashboard:

📧 Business Contact Information

  • Email: Your business support email
  • Website: Your business website URL
  • Address: Physical business location

Phone Number Management

Important points about your WhatsApp phone number:

  • Once connected, the number cannot be used on WhatsApp app
  • You can transfer numbers between accounts with proper process
  • Multiple phone numbers can be added to the same Zaple account
  • Each number has its own messaging limits

⚠️ Important: If you need to disconnect your WhatsApp number from Zaple, contact our support team. Do not attempt to re-register it on WhatsApp app without properly disconnecting first.

Quality Rating

Meta assigns a quality rating to your phone number based on how recipients interact with your messages:

High Quality

Few reports, good engagement

🟡

Medium Quality

Some reports, average engagement

🔴

Low Quality

High reports, messaging limits may decrease
