Meta Business Verification Guide
Business verification is required to access higher messaging limits and unlock advanced features. Follow this guide to complete your verification successfully.

Step 1: Access Business Settings
Log in to Meta Business Suite and navigate to:
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Select Business Settings
- Navigate to Security Center
- Click Start Verification
Step 2: Provide Business Details
Enter your business information exactly as it appears on official documents:
- Legal Business Name: Must match documents exactly
- Business Address: Physical address of the business
- Phone Number: Business contact number
- Website: Your official business website
Step 3: Submit Verification Documents
Upload one of the following documents. The document must show your legal business name and address:

- • GST Registration Certificate
- • Certificate of Incorporation (COI)
- • Shop & Establishment License
- • MSME/Udyam Registration Certificate
- • Business PAN Card
📄 Accepted Documents (International)
- • Business License
- • Articles of Incorporation
- • Tax Registration Document
- • Utility Bill in Business Name
- • Bank Statement with Business Name
⚠️ Important: Documents must be less than 6 months old for utility bills and bank statements. All documents must be clearly legible.
Step 4: Verify Your Domain
You may need to verify ownership of your business website:
- Go to Business Settings → Brand Safety → Domains
- Click Add a Domain
- Enter your website URL
- Choose verification method: DNS TXT record or HTML file upload
- Complete the verification
Step 5: Phone Verification
Meta will call or text your business phone number to verify it's active and accessible:
- Ensure the phone number you provided is correct
- Be ready to receive the verification call or SMS
- Enter the verification code when prompted

Initial Review: 24-48 hours
Meta reviews your submitted documents
Phone Verification: Same day
You'll receive a call or SMS immediately
Final Approval: 1-7 business days
Most verifications complete within 3 days
Common Rejection Reasons
Avoid these common mistakes that lead to rejection:
- Business name doesn't match documents exactly
- Documents are blurry or incomplete
- Address doesn't match across documents and website
- Website doesn't have privacy policy
- Domain not verified
- Phone number not answered during verification
